Privacy Policy

Your data stays in your account. We're committed to protecting your privacy.

Overview

FactorPrism® is committed to protecting your data privacy. Our Snowflake Native App is designed with privacy as a core principle. This policy covers both the FactorPrism® application (which processes your business data inside your Snowflake account) and the FactorPrism® marketing website (which uses standard web analytics, disclosed below).

How the FactorPrism® App Handles Your Business Data

Your Data Stays in Your Account

The FactorPrism® application runs entirely within your Snowflake account. Your business data never leaves your Snowflake environment. All analysis is performed server-side within Snowflake's secure infrastructure.

Minimal Access Required

FactorPrism® only requests SELECT (read-only) access to the specific table you choose to analyze. We cannot modify, delete, or export your business data. See our Security & Permissions page for the full breakdown of what the app requests.

No Business Data Collection

We do not collect, store, or transmit the business data you analyze with FactorPrism®. Analysis results are stored in tables within your own Snowflake account that only you can access.

No Third-Party Sharing of Business Data

Your business data is never shared with third parties. Since it never leaves your Snowflake account, there is no opportunity for external access.

AI Features

FactorPrism® uses Snowflake Cortex for AI-powered insights. Cortex runs within Snowflake's infrastructure, meaning your data remains protected by Snowflake's security controls even when using AI features.

Application Telemetry

We may collect anonymous, aggregated usage metrics through Snowflake's standard application telemetry (such as feature usage counts) to improve the product. This never includes your actual business data.

Website Analytics

Our marketing website (factorprism.com) uses optional PostHog product analytics and Google Ads conversion tracking. This is separate from the FactorPrism® application and only applies to visitors of our public website.

PostHog does not load or capture events unless you select Accept in the analytics banner. Google storage, analytics, user-data, and personalization consent are denied until you accept. If you decline, PostHog capture remains off and Google consent remains denied. Your choice is saved in your browser's local storage.

If you accept, these services may collect:

This information helps us understand site usage and measure advertising effectiveness. Google processes its data in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy. We do not use this data to identify individual visitors.

You can opt out of Google Ads personalization via Google's Ads Settings, or block tracking entirely by using your browser's standard privacy controls or extensions such as uBlock Origin or Privacy Badger.

Guided Evaluation Requests

The guided-evaluation page asks for business contact details and high-level use-case information. Do not include credentials, customer records, row-level business data, or other sensitive values. Submitted requests are stored in FactorPrism's access-restricted Google Workspace account and emailed to our business inbox so we can respond and prepare for the requested session. Google processes this information as our service provider under its applicable privacy and security terms.

If you have accepted website analytics, we may record non-sensitive funnel information such as your email domain, company, role, evaluation category, and whether your data is in Snowflake. The raw email address and the free-text business question are not sent to website analytics.

You may ask us to correct or delete a guided-evaluation request by emailing info@factorprism.com.
